Air India introduces mobile check-in facility, Ahmedabad to be covered in next phase

Air India today introduced mobile check-in facility for its all domestic passengers from six metropolitan cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru — with effect from April 7, 2011. This facility will be extended to other stations and international flights in a phased manner according to Air India statement.

The new facility will enable passengers to check-in for their flights from their web-enabled mobile hand sets by accessing URL flyai.mobi and follow the sequence-wise instructions as given on the mobile screen. Air India this facility will help in eliminating the queues at the airports and reduces the waiting time according to statement.
