Garment Manufacturers and retailers across Gujarat are on one-day strike today protesting against proposed mandatory excise duty of 10% for all branded readymade garments and textile made-ups in the Union budget for 2011-12.
The Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association is carrying out a protest with dharna at Gheekanta in Ahmedabad.
