Western Railway to operate 8 summer holiday special trains for Gujarat

The Western Railways (WR) today announced eight summer holiday special trains for various destinations to clear extra rush of passengers.

All the trains would begin operations from first week of April and continue till June-end, a WR release said.

These include a Mumbai-Ahmedabad train that would run three times a week. The other seven would run once a week. These include Bandra-Gandhidham, Bandra-Hapa, Bandra-Okha and Bandra-Indore, it said.

Other trains are Porbander-Secunderabad, Valsad- Varanasi and Ahmedabad-Yeshwantpur, the release added.

    The existing Ernakulam Bangalore bi-weekly trains may be extended
    upto Mysore. Train Nos.2683 and 2684
