Gujarat based Self Employed Women’s Association(SEWA) is all set to bring the products of Gujarat’s rural artisans to USA and UK through a fashion show. The organization has decided to make a foray in the high-end international market.
SEWA is planning to put on display its Hansiba brand creations in a US city in July and in London in August this year.
SEWA has also planned to launch two new stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad this year.
SEWA recently organized rural fashion events showcasing its Hansiba brand in Ahmedabad and Delhi. In Delhi event, film actress Sharmila Tagore and 92-year old handicraft artist Hansiba also walked on ramp.
