‘Prem Taro’ is Airtel’s highest downloaded Gujarati song
The Gujarati songs Prem Gori Taro Kem kari Bhulay, Kem Sajna Mari, Unchi Bharvadi Roop No, Amu Kaka Bapana Poyra, Aankhladi rade tari yad are the most downloaded songs of Airtel’s Gujarat Circle customers.
This was revealed in Airtel Mobitude 2009, the India’s first Mobile phone usage survey, which is a compilation of millions of downloads and billions of SMSs by Airtel customers across the cities, towns and villages.
The study offers yet another medium to conduct consumer behavior studies that reflect a larger community of people across strata. The survey captures the trends - preferences and choices of over 116 million mobile users across India. Also the survey comes out with some interesting facts and figures about the choices and preferences of Airtel Gujarat Circle which has over 5 million customers.
When it comes to Devotional songs, Hare Gogoji Ho Gaya is the most downloaded bhajan followed by Shirdiwale Saibaba, Gyatri Mantra frmale, Mere Ghar ke Samne, Are Re meri jaan hai(Sapne me aayaa Shyam). Top five Religious downloads including Saibaba, Ambe Mata, Hanuman Special, Ganesha and Gayatri Mata in cronology. Top five downloaded games in Gujarat Circle were: Need for speed, Ea Cricket 10, NFS Shift, India Cricket League, Gijoe in cronological order.
Airtel Mobitude is an annual survey that is released by Bharti Airtel at the end of every calendar year. The study talks about many more such choices and preferences of Bahrti Airtel Customers starting from top Bollywood stars, top music old and new, most celebrated days, favorite sport stars to name few.
