Kadva Patidar Kuldevi Shree Umiya Mata Mandir’s 18th century silver jubilee celebrations has been organized during 28th November and 2nd December at specially created 500-acre Umiya Nagar in Unjha. According to Manubhai Patel, Head of the Tent and decoration committee in the Mahotsav, the whole function will be held at a cost of Rs 12 to 15 crore. Though there will be some income coming from stall bookings and minor individual donations, the major amount will come from main donors, some of them well-known industrialists and businessmen. Most of such donors have already announced amount of their donation.
The highest sum of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh has been donated by Beniben Bababhai Kiyadara family(NRI) through her family members in Unjha taluka’s Brahmanvada village. Second biggest donor is America based Gujarati hotelier CK Patel, who has donated Rs 65 lakh. Third one is Darshrathbhai Patel(DD Patel) originally from Mansa but settled in Ahmedabad who has donated Rs 25.5 lakh. Fourth biggest donor is Maktupur-Ahmedabad’s Ranchhodbhai Patel with donation of Rs 18 lakh.
If we go through some persons who have declared donation with their industry’s name, then following is the list: Mukesh Patel of Godrej Properties and Siddhi Group has donated Rs 75 lakh, Sadbhav Construction’s Vishnubhai Patel has donated Rs 51 lakh, Sterling-Paras Group’s Shardaben Patel has donated Rs 51 lakh, Mehsana Unrban Cooperative Bank Limited has donated Rs 31 lakh, Ozone India Limited and Nirma Limited have also donated Rs 31 lakh each. Sintex Industries has donated Rs 25 lakh, Southern Gujarat’s sugar factories have donated Rs 21 lakh, Surat Builders Association has donated Rs 21 lakh, Ajanta Group’s Odhavji Patel has donated Rs 15 lakh, Sun Group’s Sun Siliam Industries donated Rs 11 lakh, Aris Group’s KI Patel donated Rs 11 lakh, Apolo Group’s Anil Patel(MLA) has donated Rs 11 lakh, Dharti Group’s RP Patel, Vimal Group’s Chandubhai Patel, Ganesh Steel’s Jayantibhai, Ranjit Buildcon’s Ranchhodbhai, North Gujarat’s builder JS Patel, Ramdev Food’s Hasmukhbhai, Popular Estate’s Ramanbhai, Bhagawati Floor(Gay Chhap Besan)’s Nitibhai patel, Vijapur based Suraj Cotton’s Jayantibhai Patel, Field Marshal’s Popatbhai Kansagra(Surat), Raja Industries(Kadi) Arvindbhai Kachrabhai patel and many others donated Rs 11 lakh each.
Unjha based Contractor Firm owner Somabhai Patel has donated Rs 6.5 lakh. Surat based Courier firm R.Kantilal and company has donated Rs 6.5 lakh, another Surat based courier company owner Natvarlal Patel has donated Rs 6 lakh, Palanpur’s Kisan Group of Induastries Karshanbhai Patel donated Rs 5 lakh, Mehsana’s Royal Construction owner Tulsibhai Patel, Ahmedabad’s Kitchen Express Masala owner Arvindbhai Patel, Starline’s Ramanbhai Patel(Mehsana), Safrony’s Amratbhai, Tirupati Sarjan’s Jitubhai(Visnagar), Amrut Engineering(Visnagar), Gokul Refoil and Solvant Limited(Siddhpur), Madhavlal Maganlal Courier Company(Surat), Vijay Bank’s Sanjeevbhai Patel, Raj Construction(Mehsana) also donated Rs 5 lakh each. Sahjanand Developers owner Vadudevbhai Patel donated Rs 4 lakh. The donors who have donated without their firm’s name are not included in the list given above.
