The banner, I have selected for this first post of my new column ‘Banner talk’ belongs to Adani Power IPO campaign.
The banner is situated near western Ahmedabad’s Nehrunagar circle on the Satellite road.
Interestingly, this is the road, on which Mr. Gautam Adani and Rajesh Adani, promoters of Adani Power commute everyday in their BMWs as the road falls between their head quarter in Mithakhali area and residence near S.G.Highway in Ahmedabad.
I have chosen this banner because it attracts me and many other commuters while passing from here, especially in the evening times because the girl featured in this hoarding has a live and electrifying white color tube light in her hand. The lights also continuously flow up and down on the electric wires in the background.
Dressed in a simple Kutchi outfit, the rural girl featured in the advertisement is very beautiful. Kutch is the district where Adani’s power plant is located. Rural electrification, rural girl, a live white color bulb that she holds, representing a power in her hand, are the things that make this banner interesting and attractive.
So just this for now, but I would continue to talk about the interesting, attractive, hand-picked banners from the city of Ahmedabad, time to time in this series called ‘Banner Talk’, only on Gujarat Money.
